When folks ask for my role models in leadership, I often reference Fitz. I gained a sense of true leadership by watching her. She was a natural leader - always in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing. Her patience and persistence through winning and losing seasons and her commitment to bringing up the level of play for each member of the team taught me a lot about being a leader through adversity.
