The Kathy Flores Heart of the WPL Award honors a member of the WPL community who exemplifies the characteristics of the legendary player, coach, and key founder of the WPL, Kathy Flores. This award is given to someone who demonstrates passionate advocacy for women’s rugby, builds strong and sustainable relationships both on and off the field, works hard to elevate the women’s game, and represents the ideals of the WPL.
We are excited to honor the 2024 Heart of the WPL Award winner, Olivia Benzan-Daniel, and recognize the massive impact that she has had on women’s rugby. Read more about OBD below.
