Our 2008 New Orleans Rugby Recovery Effort for the Habitat for Humanity volunteer project was a resounding success. Once again ruggers and supporters from around the country came to New Orleans to lend a helping hand with the ongoing rebuild effort.

The US Women’s Rugby Foundation invites you to attend the First Annual Women’s Rugby Roundtable November 10, 2007 in Sanford, Florida. The event will be a two-part program. A roundtable discussion to focus on building support for Women's Club Rugby and a nutrition seminar presented by Leslie Bonci, Director of Sports Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and dietitian for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Throw Me Something, Rugger! The New Orleans Halfmoons will be hosting their 29th Annual Mardi Gras Tournament on February 2nd-3rd, 2008. Consult the Halfmoon's web site for more details. And don't forget that the USWRF offers an opportunity to volunteer for New Orleans Habitat for Humanity in the days preceding the tournament.

The US Women’s Rugby Foundation (USWRF) made their introduction at the 2006 Women’s Rugby National Championships held at Disney’s Wide World of Sports. USWRF Board Member Lisa Durham manned the table and fielded questions while handing out over two hundred flyers announcing the Foundation's upcoming projects.
