In late March, the Women's Rugby Leadership Council (WRLC) and US Women's Rugby Foundation (USWRF) sent a letter to USA Rugby addressing the need for equal representation on its Board of Directors, which has several vacant seat. The organizations offered their support in developing a candidate pool, and as the following response from the Hon. Barbara O'Brien indicates, USA Rugby accepted the aid:
