USA Rugby is looking to fill several recently vacated board positions, and the Women's Rugby Leadership Council (WRLC) and US Women's Rugby Foundation (USWRF) made sure that the national governing body knew their stance on equal representation. The USWRF and WRLC selected five strong, female candidates for the board positions, and all of the former rugby players have been nominated by female USA Rugby Congress members (hyperlinked names reroute to fuller bios):
